Melbet and 1xBet Payment Agent Opportunities: What to Compare

Last updated: October 7, 2026

People exploring betting payment agent opportunities often look at more than one brand, including Melbet and 1xBet. This guide explains what a payment agent does, how that differs from a referral affiliate, and which questions to ask any program before you commit your time or money.

This guide is published by Melbet. This website accepts applications for Melbet payment agents only. This website is not affiliated with 1xBet, does not recruit agents for 1xBet and does not publish 1xBet’s terms. For any program, rely on the written terms you receive from that program.

Payment agents and referral affiliates are different roles

The two roles are easy to confuse because both can earn commission, but the work and the risks are different.

What to compare between payment agent programs

Before you choose any program, get clear, written answers in these four areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum age and the identity documents you must provide.
  • Whether acting as a payment agent is lawful in your country and city.
  • Which agent types are open in your area, such as cash or online payment agents.
  • Equipment you need, such as a smartphone and a reliable connection.

Commission terms

  • Whether commission is earned on deposits, withdrawals or both, and how it is calculated.
  • When and how commission is paid, and in which currency.
  • Whether every term is in a written agreement you can keep.
  • How changes to the terms are announced, and how much notice you get.

Funding and operating balance

  • How much operating balance you need to start, and whether it can grow gradually.
  • How you top up your balance and how quickly top-ups are credited.
  • Who carries the loss if a transaction is disputed or fraudulent.
  • How you get your balance back if you stop working as an agent.

Support

  • Who your contact is, how to reach them and when they are available.
  • How stuck or disputed transactions are resolved, and how long that usually takes.
  • What training or onboarding guidance you receive before your first transaction.
  • Whether you get transaction reports to reconcile your balance.

Warning signs to watch for

  • Promises of guaranteed or fixed earnings.
  • Requests to pay a “registration” or “activation” fee without a clear written explanation of what it is for.
  • Pressure to transfer a large balance before the terms have been explained.
  • Requests for your passwords, one-time codes or full card details.
  • No written agreement, or contacts who will only speak through anonymous accounts.

Questions to ask before you commit

  1. Is this role available and lawful where I live?
  2. Which agent type would I be, and what exactly would I do each day?
  3. How is commission calculated and paid, and can I see the agreement first?
  4. What operating balance do I need, and what happens to it if I stop?
  5. Who supports me, and how are problems with transactions resolved?
